Behind the song
‘In Your Presence’ was born out of a worship time I had during 2022 at a time I was feeling a bit distant from God, and the song just kind of fell out of me in a burning desire to just be closer to Him and a longing for more of His presence.
Pretty much every time I sit down now with my guitar or keyboard to spend time with Him, I find myself singing this song – as it’s a constant struggle to remain connected to Him in this world of distraction which constantly tries to pull our attention away from Him. This song consistently helps me to re-focus and bring me back to His presence – time and time again. I pray that you will capture the heart behind this song too, and that it draws you into a deeper place with God.
